ICAI has informed that the final Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel of CAs/ CA Firms for the year 2022-23 (MEF 2022-23) has been hosted at MEFICAI website, along with reasoning for change in the category of applicant firms/ chartered accountants, wherever applicable.
After suitable redressal of the issues/queries of the applicants, the ICAI will send the final Bank/Branch Auditors panel for the financial year 2022-23 to RBI for their consideration.
Online Panel of Experts for addressing Bank Branch Audit related queries
The Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced an Online Panel of Experts to address Bank Branch Audit related queries for the financial year 2022-23. The panel will be available to answer queries from 1st April, 2023 till 15th April, 2023, and members can send their queries to bankauditfaq@icai.in. The experts’ views will be personal and not necessarily the views of AASB or ICAI, and members should not mention any confidential information or send the same query twice.

ICAI Announcement dt. 06/10/2022: Hosting of Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for FY 2022-23
Professional Development Committee (PDC) is pleased to host the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the year 2022-23, which is hosted at http://www.meficai.org. Before filling the MEF, members are advised to go through the Advisory.
Registration/ Login Credentials
Existing Applicants: Applicants of MEF 2022-23 can login with MEF 2021-22 credentials. If you have forgotten the password, go to “Forgot Password” button to retrieve the password.
New Applicants: Registration will be required for applicants who have not filed the MEF 2021-22. It can be done using:-
i) FRN & Date of Establishment if Applicant is a Partnership Firm/LLP/ Proprietary Concern;
ii) MRN & Date of Birth if Applicant is applying as an Individual.
Last date for submission of online Form is 28/10/2022.
