The ICAI Council has decided to give an option to pay advance Membership/ COP fee in exact amount for 10 years along with GST as a final payment and in case of any shortfall owing to revision of fee in future; their Name/ COP will not be removed from the register of members on account of such revision.
Further, Members may also note that in case the advance fees has been paid in the past, the balance fees/ difference of the fee becomes payable in the current financial year. In other words payment of balance fee/ difference in fee is a must for renewal of membership/ certificate of practice, as the case may be.
It may be noted that an ACA who has paid advance membership fee for a period not exceeding 10 years and at a later stage opt for FCA status then the member is required to pay difference fee (the difference of fee in conversion from ACA to FCA and Fellow Member Admission Fee) for the remaining period.

Should I pay increased fees? I have already paid fee of Rs. 800 in last year as advance fees.
Yes.. Balance amount is required to be paid.
I am more than 60 years of age, an FCA and already hold a COP. I paid Rs. 7000 based on total due shown by ICAI while making online payment (3000 membership fee + 4000 COP fee). According to this post I should be entitled to a refund of Rs.3900/- or credit which may be adjusted against my future dues to ICAI. Suggest what to do to claim such difference?
I paid membership fee for 3 years in 2016. Do I still need to pay fee? Also, when I am visiting the website for payment of membership fee, it is asking me to pay restoration charges for Rs, 1,200, what does this signify?
Your name seems to have been removed from the Register of Member. You need to pay restoration fees of Rs. 1,200/- and also need to submit Member Name Restoration Application to ICAI. Please get in touch with ICAI for official information.
I paid membership fee Rs 1100 in April 2017 and 400 in Jan 2018. Then I got the letter regarding extension of date for payment in view of GST. However when I go online it shows entire amount of 1500+270 =1770 as payable
PS the letter states that there will be removal of membership for this year if amount paid before 15 March 2018. Why does it then show entire membership fee as payable
I am recently qualified CA. If i apply for membership after 30th sept 2018 then for which FY i would be paying fees i.e for FY 2018-19 or FY 2019-20?
For FY 2018-19.
I paid my membership fees for two years on August 30th 2017 for Rs. 3000/-. for FY 17-18 and 18-19. When I login into my account, it still shows the balance to be paid in the amount of Rs. 1,770/- instead of a balance of Rs. 270/- (GST difference) for the FY 18-19. How do I pay just the balance without worrying about possible non compliance of membership fees?
I got my membership number in April 2018 and paid my membership fees at that time. Do i need to pay it again for FY 2018-19 as it was mentioned in form for upto June 2018
Why has ICAI sharply revised fees of Associate members this year? Does ICAI has any justification of what it does for members in industry and what value proposition they are offering in return for this hike?
The fee cheque is to be sent to which office of ICAI? ITO Address?
Do i need to do anything further, apart from Paying the Annual Membership Fee for 2018-19 with Late fees, for resuming my membership. I have paid the fee late, i.e. in Nov 18 whereas the last date for the payment was 30 Sept. 2018.
I am 71, an FCA holding COP. I don’t need hard copy of the ICAI Journal, as i can view it online to save paper. Is there any proposal offering reduction of Rs. 590/- in Membership/ COP Fee for members opting for e-journal? Now, if i pay the full fees, would ICAI refund/ adjust such Rs. 500? Or do i need to wait for official announcement from ICAI?
Is there a way to pay fees without the whole registration/ declaration process?
my email ID is validated but I am not getting password and profile registration page..?
